I was bored today and was playing around with the moogle mod, I thought to myself "God, why do beast races move like they have a guar stuck up their butt?" After some thought I wondered what would happen if I swapped the werewolf animation files with the beast animation files.
It didnt exactly go as smooth as I had hoped. The beast races get stretched out and their limbs dont look very well conected. Beast races also had trouble fighting because they had no magic animations and only had hand-to-hand fighting animations.
In order to get beast races to look good with these animations it would take somebody to open the Khajiit and Argonian models and re-physique them to fit the werewolve's animations. Also if we want to be able to cast magic and fight using weapons it would require adding more animations.
I know physiquing can be done but i'm not sure if it is possible to edit animations. Experienced modders, what do you guys think?

I think I heard someone mention adding new animations about a month ago, the first animations that they where going to redo where the beasts by the by....
But I do think that with the proper physique the werewolf animation will start to look alot more appealing to modders and someone might then offer to animate the rest for you.

My problem is that I dont know how to physique, if I did then the beast races would look perfect with the werewolf animations.

Try going to the phsychodogstudios.com and check out the 3D forums, you could post q's there about physiquing if you'd like.

It would be good for like rabid Kahjits, or something, but I think it would be a bit odd trying to get quests from the one in the mage's guild if she was sniffing around and looking.. well.. rabid.

OK, I have something to say. And I mean it, I HAVE something to say. THANK YOU SO SO SO MUCH FOR THIS POST!!! I tried this a while ago, and it worked similar to how its working with you. Then, recently, I retried this. And guess what? It didn't work worth rotten [censored]. The head was on backwards, and only the chest even showed up. So thanks for proving to me that I'm indeed not insane.
Now, on to business...exactly how/what did you do? tell me step by step please, so i can retry this, so i can recreate the effect. Thanks in advance, ~Meer
